The Band Of Gold was created to play music at weddings, parties, and corporate functions.  We are all experienced musicians, most of us have been gigging for donkey's years.  We decided that playing at weddings and parties was what we most enjoyed doing, so we set up the band for that purpose. 

• Singers are the most important part of any band, and we have three.  This adds  breadth to our repertoire, and enables us to do vocal harmonies.  We always have back-up, if someone has a sore throat on the night.
• The songs we play get people on their feet, and keep them dancing.  If you like to sing along, then we've got songs for you, too. We've picked the best of the music from the last fifty years, topped up with songs from today's charts.  
• Our equipment is high quality, and we carry spares.  You don't want a gap in your evening because something breaks down.
• Our PA is scaleable, so we can cope, whether you have 2,000 people in an open air venue, 500 in a ball room, or 30 in a marquee in your own garden.
• We never forget that IT IS YOUR DAY, so we tailor the music personally.  If you have a special song, we will learn it just for you.  We will even provide the backing for your bridesmaids, if they want to serenade you!
